Food production has always been closely linked to the environment and natural resources. At Atria, we have systematically built the food production chain on the basis of nature, and always respecting the environment.
It is important for us to have a thorough understanding of how the food chain as a whole functions and the environmental impact it has. In practice, this means working closely with industry research. Only in this way will we be able to properly target development measures.
We focus on measures which actively reduce carbon emissions and other environmental impacts, both in our own production and throughout the food chain, from the field to table. A carbon neutral food chain is our main goal.
